Children Ages 0-8
- Kids from birth through age 8 can get a reading log at any Stanislaus County Library branch.
- Use the reading log to keep track of every DAY that they spend at least 20 minutes reading, or having someone read to them.
- After 7 days of reading, kids can bring their reading log (signed by a parent) back to the library to collect a prize!
- Kids from ages 9 through 12 can get a reading log at any Stanislaus County Library branch.
- Use the reading log to keep track of every DAY that they spend at least 30 minutes reading, or having someone read to them.
- After 7 days of reading, kids can bring their reading log (signed by a parent) back to the library to collect a prize!
- Teens may pick up a bingo card at any Stanislaus County Library branch.
- Pick a square, choose a genre, and read for at least 1 hour. You don't need to read for an hour straight.
- After 7 days of reading, if you have a column or row finished come get a prize!
- One log per teen .
- Turn in a completed Bingo Log to be entered in a drawing for a Nook e-reader!
- Read or listen to a book.
- Fill out a review sheet and return to any Stanislaus County Library branch.
- Each review is an entry into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to Amazon.com.
