About me
Hello, I'm Xochitl, the new Publisher and Editor of Macaroni KID Modesto. My family and I have called Salida home for the past 7 years. Alongside my husband, our 5-year-old son, and our two 10-year-old dogs, I cherish our community and all it offers. Professionally, I serve as a Line Producer for The Good Life/La Buena Vida, a nonprofit that supports the health and well-being of aging Black and Latino communities through free online classes. I'm passionate about my work and deeply connected to our local area, which made accepting this role a natural choice.
We love to explore and discover new facets of our community together. Whether it's enjoying family time at our parks, dining out, or having fun at local arcades, these are some of our favorite activities. I look forward to bringing you engaging content and highlighting exciting local events.
