Hey, parents and kids! Looking for something fun to do this summer that’s free, local, and encourages exploration? Starting July 1, you can join the Find Waldo Local scavenger hunt and search for him at 25 local businesses right here in Modesto!
Here’s how it works:
- Start at Bookish Modesto (located in McHenry Village 811 W Roseburg Ave, Modesto, CA 95350). Stop by on or after July 1 to pick up your official Waldo Passport. While you’re there, find two hidden items in the store—a miniature Waldo and a magnifying glass—to earn your first stamp!
- Visit as many of the 25 participating businesses around Modesto during the month of July. Each one is hiding their own tiny Waldo—when you find him, show your passport to get stamped! Check out the full list of locations at https://www.bookishmodesto.com/-bookishkidsummer
- Once your passport is complete, turn it back in to Bookish by July 30. Then, come back on July 31 for a chance to win awesome prizes—including gift cards and goodies donated by local businesses.
