What is a Boo Bag?
A Boo Bag is a little Halloween surprise filled with treats and goodies, left secretly on a friend or neighbor’s doorstep. Each bag is meant to bring smiles, spark kindness, and encourage families to "pay it forward" by Boo’ing someone else.
Each family who receives a Boo Bag will get one bag:
- One for your family to keep and enjoy.
- One DIY bag to deliver and pass along the Boo’ing fun to another family, friend, teacher, coworker, or neighbor!
Want to keep the kindness going? You can even make your own extra Boo Bags and spread the joy throughout your neighborhood.
How It Works:
- Enjoy your Boo Bag 🎃 – unwrap the goodies and have fun!
- Post your “We’ve Been Boo’d” sign on your door, window or social media.
- Boo someone else – Get your own boo bags ready to deliver to your family of choice!
- Optional: Make copies of the flyer inside and keep the Boo’ing chain going all October long.
- Share the fun online! Tag us on social media @mackidmodestoca so we can see your Boo’ing adventures.
How to Sign Up:
- Boo Bags are open to subscribers only!
- Boo Bags sign ups open September 18, 2025 in our newsletter
- Spots are limited—only 50 families will be selected this year to be hand delivered and 50 more will be handed out at local vendor events so keep an eye out on the newsletter to know when to snag one!
- Distribution will run October 13th–24th, 2025.
