As we wrap up another incredible year, I just want to say thank you. Macaroni KID Modesto exists because of you—our local families, small businesses, teachers, and community partners who show up, share events, and support one another.
Here’s a look back at some of the moments that made 2025 such a special year in our community.
Connecting Local Families
At its heart, Macaroni KID Modesto is about helping families find fun, affordable things to do close to home—and 2025 delivered!
From weekend adventures and holiday happenings to everyday after‑school fun, our event calendar continued to be a go‑to resource for families looking to make memories without having to search far and wide.
Community Fun That Brought Us Together
One of the biggest highlights of the year was bringing a free kids craft to the State Theatre for Donuts, Coffee & Cartoons. Seeing families create together, enjoy a classic movie experience, and start their morning with smiles was such a special reminder of how meaningful simple, shared moments can be.
We also loved being out in the community at events like DOMO First Friday, local festivals, and pop‑up activities where kids could create, explore, and just be kids—while parents learned about local resources.
Events, Crafts & Family Experiences
Throughout the year, Macaroni KID Modesto hosted and supported family‑friendly experiences including:
- Seasonal crafts at community events
- A Women’s and kids Clothing Swap that encouraged sustainability and connection
- Family‑focused outings that highlighted what makes Modesto and surrounding areas special
Each event was designed with one goal in mind: bringing families together.
Supporting Our Teachers & Schools
Giving back remained a priority in 2025. Through our DonorsChoose spotlights, we highlighted local Modesto teachers and helped bring attention to classroom projects that directly support our students.
Supporting educators is supporting our future—and our community showed up in a big way.
Celebrating Local Businesses
Local businesses are the backbone of our community, and this year we continued to:
- Grow our Business Directory
- Highlight family‑friendly local spots
- Partner with small businesses for giveaways, guides, and features
