February is almost here, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite Modesto traditions—the 8th Annual LOVEBUG Invasion, brought to you by #ModestoROCKS!
This heartwarming event is all about spreading love, hope, and encouragement throughout our community. For nearly ten years, local artists and families have been painting rocks with messages of kindness and “swarming” the city, leaving surprises at hospitals, cancer treatment centers, senior living facilities, rehab centers, and more. It’s a simple way to put a smile on someone’s face and remind them that they are not alone.
February can be a tough month for some, but the LOVEBUG Invasion is here to change that! No membership, no fees, and no fancy equipment are needed—just paint, rocks, and a big heart for your village.
Families and kids of all ages are welcome to join in! If you know a facility that could use a little love this February, make sure to contact the #ModestoROCKS! team so it can be included in the swarm.
