Hi, I’m Sarina—the owner and photographer behind Sarina Schieferstein Photography, located in downtown Modesto. I specialize in maternity, newborn, child, and family portraits, and I’ve been photographing families for over 22 years.
I began my photography journey shooting film in 2003, and over the years my work has grown alongside my own family. As a mom of four, I understand how quickly each season of life passes and how meaningful it is to preserve these moments while they’re here. My studio is centered around creating a calm, comfortable experience.
Sessions are guided and intentionally paced—never rushed, except during the fun hustle and bustle of seasonal mini sessions. My goal is for every client to feel supported, relaxed, and confident throughout the process. I want your time in front of the camera to feel easy and enjoyable, not stressful. I offer a wide range of portrait services, including maternity, newborn, children, family, milestone and cake smash sessions, seasonal mini sessions, professional headshots, and other custom portrait work.
