Shop from a selection of gently used books at bargain prices.
Book prices are as follows:
- Children’s $.50
- Paperbacks $1
- Hardcover $2
- Jigsaw puzzles $2
Additionally, shoppers will find a special prices table with books marked individually.
Fiction titles will be sorted by the first letter of authors’ last names. Book categories include biographies, fiction, children’s, cooking, self-help, history, hobbies, and travel.
If possible, bring a bag to carry your purchases. We will have a limited number of bags and boxes available.
Payment accepted includes cash, credit and debit cards, PayPal, ApplePay and GooglePay.
Funds raised benefit the Modesto Library and its users. Friends of the Modesto Library-funded projects have included replacing the fish tank, upgrading furniture in the children and teen areas, children’s and adult programming at the library, and purchasing children’s books for giveaways at library events.
