The Climb is the largest nationwide event put on by survivors and advocates of perinatal mental health disorders. This community based resource fair brings awareness to the struggles new parents face and the resources that are available locally as well as through Postpartum Support International. PSI offers support groups, peer mentors, trainings, provider directory, helpline, and more for new parents and their families and friends. The Climb also doubles as a fun way to fundraise for more resources through PSI.
This will be the third year of Team Central Valley hosting the Climb and first year collaborating with Modesto Children's Garden to offer a healing and fun time for families. Over 10 family, perinatal, and recovery based providers will be in attendance with a Walk of Hope, Take What You Need Scavenger Hunt, and Leave What You Don't Rock Painting activity. Look forward to free door prizes, snacks, and goodie bags, as well as fun classes to do for families of all ages.
