5 DonorsChoose Projects to Support This March

Each month, Macaroni KID Modesto highlights five local teachers with DonorsChoose projects that need community support. These teachers work hard to provide the best learning experiences for their students, and with a little help, we can make a big difference in their classrooms. Check out these five amazing projects for March and consider donating to help bring them to life!

1. Mrs. Douglas

School: Rose Avenue Elementary School
Project: Snack Pantry
Help me give my students snacks to eat to help them concentrate on their learning.

2. Mrs. Blickenstaff

School: Thomas Downey High School
Project: Pages of Truth
Help me give my students access to Banned Books for knowledge and freedom.

3. Mrs. Stanfield

School: Bernard L Hughes Elementary School
Project: Reading Group Essentials
Help me give my students the basic supplies we need to support our reading groups and their learning.

4. Ms. Papadogiannis 

School: Fairview Elementary School
Project: LEGOs, Helping To Build Imagination And Creativity
Help me give my students a chance to use their imagination and build their fine motor skills by creating different things by giving students LEGOs that allow them to play and imagine what things can be.

5.Ms. Lozano 

School: La Loma Junior High School
Project: Science Fluency for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Help me give my students a full-size human anatomy skeleton model, magnifying glasses, and reading guides to help them excel in science and English fluency.
